"Heaven On Earth!!!"
The best kept secret in The Bahamas.  Took my wife for our wedding anniversary and were treated like royalty without any false sincerity. The rooms are truly beautiful with views of the white sand and turquoise ocean within a stones throw.  If you're looking for peace and tranquility, luxurious accommodation with the best food and service then this is the place for you ... and it's very reasonably priced too.  We have already booked our return trip for October and can't wait! Bluff House is the full package and such a romantic place to be with the one you love most in the world.  One big disappointment ... Having to leave and go back to work!!!

"Fantastic Location For Our Conference and Outstanding Service"
I choose Bluff House Beach Resort & Marina as a location to host a small business conference I was putting on for Clients, with the added advantage of a few days break after the conference. Firstly, the location is stunning and the views from the resort are second to none, with white sands, beautiful flowers and swaying palm trees. Secondly, the rooms couldn't be faulted. They were exceptionally clean and spacious with views overlooking the ocean. The conference was organized easily with the help of the team at Bluff House, and the process was professional, helpful and without hitches. the days following the conference were idyllic on the perfect beach in the day (with the help of the beach bar!) followed by a lively authentic atmosphere at the restaurant in the evening. I wouldn't hesitate to arrange more conferences here in the future and I will certainly be returning for another holiday!

"A Home Away From Home"
We had a wonderful time at the Bluff House. We looked on Trip Advisor and they recommended it highly ... we were not disappointed. It is a slice of heaven. The staff was wonderful ... it was like home ... we will go back. The restaurant was perfecto with the marina view. Who could ask for more ... so relaxing.  You need a golf cart to get around ... the beaches on the island were beautiful! We miss u and will be back next year. Room 17 on the bottom is fine!

"Tranquil Resort in the Bahamas"
Staying at the Bluff House Resort was a perfect experience. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They made us feel right at home. The accommodations were beautiful and the Marina was perfect for our sailboat. Every meal was delicious and their signature drink, the "Tranquil Turtle," was refreshing and delicious. Everything about the Bluff House was perfect and I can't wait to go back.

"Don't Tell Anyone ... It's A Secret!!"
We discovered this place via Facebook ... I am really not sure I should be disclosing this information BUT ... Bluff House at Green Turtle Cay is paradise found, it's absolutely gorgeous, fantastic, spacious, clean rooms. Great service. I was greeted at the dock where the ferry taxi drops you by one of the owners, yes, one of the owners! and shown to my room.  Every time I saw this guy around he came over and chatted asking was everything was OK. He joined us for cocktails and dinner one night and he picked up the bill. Then on departure, he walked us to the ferry dock, shook our hands and thanked us for coming. Now, that's service! The girls too are all wonderful.  They had a private beach with sun beds and in March there are not many people around so it's beautiful and quiet and lively at night with the beach bar. This really is a gem but don't tell anyone. We don't want it spoiled with the masses! On the negative side, it is not suitable for anyone who has difficulties walking or wheelchair bound, as there is a small hill between the restaurant and rooms.  However, golf carts are available for rent. It also involves a 3 minute taxi ride and 15 minutes in the water ferry to get there from Treasure Cay airport.

"Extra Mile"
I was there for two weeks.  Owners Mike and Jennifer are super people and make your stay as pleasant as possible. Andrew, the dock master, was as attentive to detail as I have ever seen. Tranquil Turtle on Sunday afternoon is the place to be.

"Loved Every Minute"
We rented a "treehouse" through Bluff House which was really awesome. We had to take the ferry from Treasure Cay to Green Turtle Cay. It was a twenty minute boat ride. The people at Bluff House were very helpful. We ate at their restaurant and the food and service was good. The staff was humorous and efficient. Nice gift shop. You have to travel by golf cart and some of the roads are really rough and rugged, which made the whole experience exciting. The marina is beautiful. Would go back in a heart beat.

"Superb!"
We stayed at the Bluff House marina when a strong cold front threatened, very high winds and generally ugly conditions in the Abacos. We found the place to be one of the nicest marina/restaurant/hotels we've seen in the Bahamas. The dock hands were knowledgeable, and staff at the hotel office extremely helpful. The restaurant was first rate with specials just about every night ... our kind of place! The price was right as well and was the cheapest docking rate we'd found anywhere in the Bahamas. I highly recommend this resort!

"What a Difference New Management Makes."
Four of us stopped by the Bluff House last week for a cocktail, it's a beautiful setting on Green Turtle Cay. We have been there many times before BUT were thoroughly surprised to find it under new management. They are putting in new bathrooms and showers at the Jolly Roger (the marina and bar/restaurant) and building a new restaurant and tiki bar by the beach. What impressed us the most was the new menu and overall attention to service. Erin Albury, the bartenderess greeted us and described the new drinks, she also told us about the new menu and described it in delicious detail ... we started with some appetizers at the bar and then Erin moved us to a table to enjoy lunch. (We were only going to stay for one drink, that didn't happen.) We were so impressed with the food we asked to meet the cook, I believe her name was Treaie Ballou, that lady can cook! We were greeted and made to feel welcome by the new manager, Chris Pollock, a true professional. He told us about the upcoming plans for the Bluff House and what was going on around the island, he was a wealth of information with a delightful sense of humor. We enjoyed his establishment and staff so much that we returned 4 nights for dinner and drinks. Chris will gladly give you a tour of the property and tell you about the plans. Thanks to all the staff.

"They Say First Impressions Are Everything, and Staying at the Bluff House For My First Time Being in the Bahamas Was The Highlight."
I loved the layout of the property, the beach is easily accessed by all rooms everywhere. Having the private beach with a reef filled with all types of sea life running right along the shore line of the property was amazing to have right outside my room. The food hit the spot every time and the quality of the food and portions I was very pleased with. Well worth the price. My family is going back for Thanksgiving and I cannot wait! Definitely very satisfied with my visit and stay and I thank the Bluff House Resort! :)

"We Recently Stayed At Bluff House."
We recently stayed at Bluff House due to electrical problems. Ian was so helpful! We just got our boat & this was our shakedown cruise so we had no idea why the system was not charging. First, he came on board with a tester to troubleshoot the problem & figured out that a breaker was tripped. Then he phoned around to find an electrician to come to the boat. We loved the food for dockage deal! The restaurant serves delicious meals so it's no sacrifice to eat there. We were stuck here 4 days waiting to cross The Whale & hardly minded! We totally recommend staying here.

"I Have Heard Nothing But Rave Reviews."
Thanks so much to all of you! You were so well organized, the food was stupendous, and all of your group was unfailingly polite, helpful and fun. I have heard nothing but rave reviews regarding every facet of the event. We also appreciate you delivering on the fantastic weather. LOL!

"A Level Of Service Rarely Seen In The Bahamas."
We stayed here and were very impressed with the new owners (Ian and Stacy). They are very customer focused and "hands on" as they overhaul the operation and renovate the facilities. They provided a level of service and attention rarely seen in the Bahamas.

"Caribbean 1500"
Thank you to all participants and Bluff House Marina for making the Bahamas class of the Caribbean 1500 such an enjoyable and pleasant event to be involved with. Also, thanks to World Cruising Club shore team for their constant updates throughout the rally. And finally, thank you to the islanders of Green Turtle Cay for their warm hospitality.

"Beautiful Resort, Lovely Staff"
Our room at the Bluff House looked just like the picture- it was brand new and immaculate. The marina is beautiful, and we were allowed to tie our rental boat up to the dingy dock at no extra charge. All the staff were kind and helpful to us from the moment we arrived til the moment we caught the ferry out. The resort spans from the marina-side to the beach-side, so it is nice to have a golf cart. You may want to reserve one in advance... sometimes they can be hard to come by. The restaurant and office/ gift shop overlook the marina. The food is good, the servers are friendly, and it is very pleasant to sit in the open-air restaurant with the view of the harbor. The restaurant, pool, shower/restroom facilities, and beach-side bar, all look brand new. The building we stayed in looked new as well. There are buildings on the property which have not been renovated yet, but I do not think those rooms are rented. Apparently, renovation plans are in the works for those structures as well. This is the nicest resort we have ever stayed at in the Bahamas.

"Bluff House Exceeded Our Expectations For Our Perfect wedding"
We just returned from a fabulous 8 day stay at Bluff House, August 21 - August 29. We were honored to celebrate our wedding and be the first guests to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL newly renovated 8 Bluff House suites! This was our third stay here, and plan on returning in November. It just keeps getting better. We love Bluff House! Owner Stacy Phillips ( and her husband Ian) decorated each suite with exquisite West Indies style decor that provided not only luxury but comfort. Our wedding guests were so happy! She thought of everything! And Chris Pollock, the General Manager was hands down the most accommodating and gracious hotel manager I have ever experienced. He never stopped working and saw to every need of every guest. Roxie, Vanessa, Erin, Summer...the most awesome bartenders ever!!! These girls were there day and night and had there hands full and were WONDERFUL!!! Claudia and Natasha in the reception office accommodated every guest with every need. Jason, the Dock Master was awesome and Daniel not stopped working. And the food is FABULOUS! We even had the kitchen prepare our fresh fish with coconut encrusted breading. It was delicious! The location of this property on Green Turtle and the fact that they have the only private beach along with everything else I mentioned is why we continue to return. If you would like details of how wonderful and perfect Stacy and Chris coordinated my totally stressless wedding, please contact them for my email address and I will be happy to give you more details. The lobster boil the night before the wedding on the private beach was amazing for our guests of 30!

"Outstanding Service"
Although we stayed at another resort across the harbor, we came to Bluff House for the wonderful outdoor bar and for dinner one night. On one of our many visits, the girls had seen something in the shop that they wanted to look at. Even though the shop had long been closed, they opened back up for us! All of the wait staff and bar tenders were extremely personable and friendly. We ate there on pasta night. The servings were huge, my wife and I split one and took the other back to the boat for the following day. The alfredo is much better than the marinara. This is a great place to come for a few..or a lot of drinks :)

"Great Place With Great Views"
Have visited Green Turtle Cay many times and always go the Bluff House for lunch, dinner and drinks at the Tranquil Turtle. Best place to see amazing sunsets and meet many of the friendly locals. Food is great and the Tranquil Turtles are must.

"Great Family Vacation"
The service is amazing! Everyone is so helpful & accommodating. Food was fair. The view from our suite was amazing! The private beach is so relaxing and beautiful. We snorkeled off the beach. We cannot wait to visit again.

"Bluff House on Green Turtle Cay Is A Place To Relax And Let The World Go By."
Some would say that the Bluff House has seen better days but this was the perfect location for us. We caught the ferry just north of Treasure Cay and it makes two stops on Green Turtle Cay – the Bluff House and Plymouth. Be sure to tell the captain where you want off. We stayed for a week. The property is spread over a hill on a point. We stayed in the Seacomber Villas – really a one bedroom suite overlooking the Sea of Abaco. It was everything we could have hoped for. The unit was spacious, clean, bright with 3 large sliding doors and a wrap around deck on two sides. Sunsets were superb as was access to their private beach. The pool, bar, restaurant and marina were almost deserted in January as the weather was a bit cool. Robin Phillips was most helpful. She arranged for our golf cart which really is a must to be brought to the unit. The wonderful Atlantic beaches are 10 minutes away by golf car. You'll want to make multiple visits into New Plymouth at the opposite end of the island to try the local kitchens or to do your food shopping. For those who dive or snorkel be sure to go out with Brendal. His fresh lobster feast on the Man-O-War beach is outstanding. Brendal makes every trip special.
We also had an opportunity to see the recently built 3 bedroom villas which overlook the natural bay and the marina. They look superb and can be rented as one, two or 3 bedrooms.

"Our Boat Club Destination For One Week Gulfstream Grady White Group."
Service very friendly and helpful, rooms had spectacular views with balconies. Liked the room decor as it is updated and very clean. If stairs are a problem for you then reconsider as their are flights of stairs to climb. We found our room quiet as it was on the very end. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will go back next year!
