Tranquil Resort in the Abacos
Staying at the Bluff House Resort was a perfect experience. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They made us feel right at home. The accommodations were beautiful and the Marina was perfect for our sailboat. Every meal was delicious and their signature drink, the "Tranquil Turtle," was refreshing and delicious. Everything about the Bluff House was perfect and I can't wait to go back.

Loved Every Minute
We rented a "treehouse" through Bluff House which was really awesome. We had to take the ferry from Treasure Cay to Green Turtle Cay. It was a twenty minute boat ride. The people at Bluff House were very helpful. We ate at their restaurant and the food and service was good. The staff was humorous and efficient. Nice gift shop. You have to travel by golf cart and some of the roads are really rough and rugged, which made the whole experience exciting. The marina is beautiful. Would go back in a heart beat.

Superb!
We stayed at the Bluff House marina when a strong cold front threatened, very high winds and generally ugly conditions in the Abacos. We found the place to be one of the nicest marina/restaurant/hotels we've seen in the Bahamas. The dock hands were knowledgeable, and staff at the hotel office extremely helpful. The restaurant was first rate with specials just about every night ... our kind of place! The price was right as well and was the cheapest docking rate we'd found anywhere in the Bahamas. I highly recommend this resort!

Four of us stopped by the Bluff House last week for a cocktail, it's a beautiful setting on Green Turtle Cay. We have been there many times before BUT were thoroughly surprised to find it under new management. They are putting in new bathrooms and showers at the Jolly Roger (the marina and bar/restaurant) and building a new restaurant and tiki bar by the beach. What impressed us the most was the new menu and overall attention to service. Erin Albury, the bartenderess greeted us and described the new drinks, she also told us about the new menu and described it in delicious detail ... we started with some appetizers at the bar and then Erin moved us to a table to enjoy lunch. (We were only going to stay for one drink, that didn't happen.) We were so impressed with the food we asked to meet the cook, I believe her name was Treaie Ballou, that lady can cook! We were greeted and made to feel welcome by the new manager, Chris Pollock, a true professional. He told us about the upcoming plans for the Bluff House and what was going on around the island, he was a wealth of information with a delightful sense of humor. We enjoyed his establishment and staff so much that we returned 4 nights for dinner and drinks. Chris will gladly give you a tour of the property and tell you about the plans. Thanks to all the staff.

I loved the layout of the property, the beach is easily accessed by all rooms everywhere. Having the private beach with a reef filled with all types of sea life running right along the shore line of the property was amazing to have right outside my room. The food hit the spot every time and the quality of the food and portions I was very pleased with. Well worth the price. My family is going back for Thanksgiving and I cannot wait! Definitely very satisfied with my visit and stay and I thank the Bluff House Resort! :)

We recently stayed at Bluff House due to electrical problems. Ian was so helpful! We just got our boat & this was our shakedown cruise so we had no idea why the system was not charging. First, he came on board with a tester to troubleshoot the problem & figured out that a breaker was tripped. Then he phoned around to find an electrician to come to the boat. We loved the food for dockage deal! The restaurant serves delicious meals so it's no sacrifice to eat there. We were stuck here 4 days waiting to cross The Whale & hardly minded! We totally recommend staying here.

We stayed here and were very impressed with the new owners (Ian and Stacy). They are very customer focused and "hands on" as they overhaul the operation and renovate the facilities. They provided a level of service and attention rarely seen in the Bahamas.
